We also put up silt fence when needed to help the job stay clean, the dirt from washing in and making a mess of the concrete.

During the rainy season, which has been quite frequently in the Atlanta area, we take the time to provide plastic and cover the job, so that we can continue with the project as soon as the rain passes through and the job site is manageable.

Happy Concrete Driveway, Sidewalk, and front stoop Customer

Replacement of driveway, retaining wall, garage floor, and front walk customer

We had a very positive experience with Professional Concrete of Georgia and were highly satisfied with the end result.  Our Roswell job involved several related projects which required an extra level of planning and coordination, and Professional Concrete of Georgia was able to do it all.  They replaced a concrete driveway, retaining wall, garage floor and front walk with brick steps and stoop. They also did some foundation repair and added a large, under deck patio with supporting  retaining wall.  Their estimate was competitive, one of four which varied slightly on the individual projects, but totaled in the same range.  We selected Professional Concrete of Georgia based upon the numerous favorable references, along with the attitude and personality of the owner, Brandon Sewell.  He was very professional, knowledgeable and experienced, as well as enthusiastic about the job and receptive to our ideas.  He came across as honest, fair and extremely passionate about concrete. 

The project began on schedule, as promised, with enough people and equipment to get the job done.  The crew was a well trained, focused team, on the job on time everyday, working with skill and intensity from dawn until dusk, doing an incredible amount of work in a relatively short period of time.

Another Quality Job by Professional Concrete of Georgia

Professional Concrete of Georgia poured the driveway at our home a little over 3 years ago. So when we needed more work done they were our choice. They installed a modular block wall, laid the sod and spread pine straw behind our new pool. They even spread gravel on our back yard driveway to add that finishing touch. Do you want your Replacement driveway job done right

As professional concrete contractors in the Atlanta area, We like to compare our techniques to theirs. For instance, the picture to the right shows a driveway poured by our competition. They simply formed-up to the curb by laying down two 1×8″s nailed together and then poured concrete over what was left of the existing curb. This leaves a thin edge that is easily broken.

The way we do a driveway replacement project at Professional Concrete of Georgia

we saw-cut and remove the curb. After removing the curb properly, we then dig down eight inches forming a footer-like area (most of our competitors only pour four inches of concrete at the curb). We dig this eight inch footer-like area at the curb and garage so the driveway will have increased strength in these critical areas.

Competition = Thin, broken concrete at the end of your driveway!

Where newly installed concrete joins existing concrete, we drill into the existing concrete every eighteen inches. Rebar is then inserted into these holes and an epoxy type adhesive is used to hold the rebar in place (as necessary). This allows the concrete to expand while keeping it from settling and developing a lip. That way you will always have a smooth transition from your pre-existing concrete areas to your newly installed concrete areas.
